Course description
The aim of this course is to provide a substantial overview of best practices and tools to operate the Avaloq Banking Suite. Course participants will learn about typical use cases of Avaloq IT operations and the best practices for troubleshooting. After an introduction to the key elements of background processing, we will cover the Central Services Desk in detail. While we set up a typical job net and run end-of-day processing, we will use the Avaloq Monitor and Log to observe and troubleshoot the process. Alongside the scheduled processing of tasks, we will also cover the technical background and basic architecture, which includes file, mail and message handling. We will also use common APIs to connect to external system management tools. Participants will have the opportunity to solve various exercises. The course is based on tools, functions and APIs in the Avaloq Banking Suite, including Oracle SQL Developer
To become certified the participants need to pass a one hour exam at the end of the course.
