Course description
The highly customizable and flexible Avaloq Banking Suite can meet the needs of any banking client.
The aim of the course is to establish a fundamental understanding of the possibilities for customizing the Avaloq Core Platform when addressing client-specific requirements. It provides theory and practical exercises in key areas of customization. This knowledge is essential for anyone working in Avaloq implementation projects.
The course has substantial applied content, comprising theory videos, guided interactive exercises and hands-on training and exercises, where participants learn how to implement customization. Business use cases allow participants to understand how banking processes are represented in the Avaloq Core Platform. Participants are provided with material for self-study, followed by a five-day instructor-led hands-on class where participants put their learning into practice.

On successful completion of this course, each participant will have the basic know-how needed to work productively in an Avaloq project, including a demonstrable understanding of the following:
- Basic concepts of the Avaloq Banking Suite
- Fundamentals of Avaloq Customization
- Implementation of use cases based on examples
- Completion of the Avaloq in a Nutshell course is necessary before beginning the ACP 101 self-study
- Understanding of IT-related topics (e.g., database concepts, programming know-how, SQL) is required
- Basic knowledge of banking is recommended
- Participants must be able to read and understand documentation written in English
The course is the second in our Avaloq Certified Customization Professional (Core-ABR/S) certification program, preparing participants for the certification exam, and is a prerequisite for attending the subsequent courses in the program.
