Mission Statement
To introduce implementation professionals to the ABR/S development and customization and working with bank-specific customization and contributions, enabling them to develop good quality code which passes the rigorous ABR/S audit and consistency tests.
Course description
The Avaloq Banking Reference/Starter Kit, or ABR/S, is delivered to all new Avaloq clients including on-premise, SaaS and BPaaS.
Code developed during an ABR/S-based project is developed within the ABR/S customization and development framework. In particular, ABR/S maintains a code baseline which is specially configured and used as the starting point for each new project.
This course teaches participants how to customize bank-specific code for both on-premise and SaaS/BPaaS projects. It will also cover how to develop within the ABR/S development framework by learning about ABR/S concepts, roles, processes and conventions. In particular, you'll learn how to play your part in resolving an open issue by developing good quality code which meets the rigorous ABR/S audit and integration test criteria.
The course material comprises theoretical and demonstration videos, supported by quizzes to test your understanding. It culminates with a virtual class in which you'll perform trainer-supported customization exercises in a dedicated training environment.
Upon successful completion of this course every participant will:
Be able to apply ABR/S customization guidelines when developing solutions
Make use of the coding support provided by ASMD when developing for ABR/S
Describe the activities of ABR/S program and release management
Follow the issue resolution workflow and the ABR/S solution development process, in particular, when developing solutions
Explain the ABR/S synthetic data universe
