Get an introduction of ACPR based trading adapters and the underlying concepts.
 
Course description
Customization Delta courses are part of the accreditation channel for Avaloq Certified Customization Professionals. They capture most of the important and interesting changes or features that customization specialists should be aware of if they want to remain up to date with the evolving Avaloq Banking Suite.
 
Latest as of ACP release 5.3, most of the adapters need to run on the Avaloq Container Platform Reference (ACPR).
The focus of this course is to set up the adapters with special focus on the trading related adapters like FixBridge, OmgeoBrigde, EurexBridge and SIX Telekurs. The course explains the purpose of these adapters, the required information for the successful customization in ACP as well as the needed configuration on the container platform.
The course starts with a pre-defined environment setting and constellation.
 
The existing Containerized Adapters accreditation course will be replaced by this Delta course. The basics of the AMI Adapter Framework as well as the JMS-, SOAP-, File Transfer- and Total Messaging-Adapter according to the Containerized Adapters accreditation course are covered as an optional video.
 
The course also covers new features for customization, largely based on what has been brought to the market since the second half of 2020. It also includes methods which are only now becoming widely adopted or features which have been backported to earlier releases as well as those which are release-independent.

Objectives

  • Describe the AMI adapter framework architecture
  • Explain the purpose of the AMI webservice framework
  • Be able to set up a running FixBridge (Client and Broker) based on provided parameters
  • Be able to activate the Omgeo- and Eurex bridge
  • Understand the concepts of the SIX Telekurs connections

Requirements

Participants must be ACCP certified or have equivalent knowledge of the Avaloq Banking System. Basic ACPR knowledge is essential by joining the Delta course 2020H1 or the Containerized Adapters accreditation course before.

Only Avaloq Certified Customization Professionals will receive accreditation points.

This course includes a self-study exercise to help you consolidate learning and prepare for the virtual class. The exercise solution must be completed and submitted two business days before the virtual class (course date). Solution submission is mandatory – you must submit a solution to participate in the virtual class.
